Richmond Fontaine was an American four-piece rock and alternative country band, based in Portland, Oregon.They were active between 1994 and 2016 and recorded eleven studio albums, four live albums and two EPs.

The Delines were formed when singer Amy Boone was touring with Richmond Fontaine and singing the female parts from that band's 2003 album, Post to Wire, which had been performed by her sister Deborah Kelly. [2] Kelly and Boone had been in the Texas band the Damnations. [3]

In 2011, they signed with Clubhouse Records UK and released their third album Don't Fade, [11] on 13 June 2011. The Redlands Palomino Company released their fourth album, Broken Carelessly, through Clubhouse Records in April 2014. [12] Work is planned for a fifth album in 2020.
In 2012 the Jackmormons released Happy Book, a double CD set featuring guest appearances by Conlee, her Decemberists bandmate Chris Funk, Eric Earley (Blitzen Trapper), Dan Eccles (Richmond Fontaine), Ingram, Little Sue Weaver and Paul Brainard. In 2008, Joseph and Drizos recorded a self-titled album under the moniker The Denmark Veseys.
