This English dubbed version produced by Henry Deutschmeister also had a new musical soundtrack composed by Robert Mellin and Gian-Piero Reverberi instead of the music composed by Georges Van Parys for the French/German original. Crusoe is a 1988 British drama film directed by Caleb Deschanel. It is a variation on the story told in the 1719 novel Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe . The film stars Aidan Quinn as Crusoe.
