Milwaukee Area Technical College (or MATC) is a public two-year vocational-technical and community college based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.MATC offers day, evening, weekend and online classes at campuses in downtown Milwaukee, Oak Creek, West Allis, and Mequon as well as an education center in the Walker's Square neighborhood on Milwaukee's near south side.
It is the flagship of the University of Wisconsin System, which includes 25 other campuses. [1] Marquette University in Milwaukee is the state's largest private university, with a fall 2010 enrollment of 11,806 students. With 19,827 in attendance, Milwaukee Area Technical College is the largest technical college of Wisconsin.
It serves approximately 23,000 students per year in classes. [3] TCC consists of four main campuses, two community campuses, and a conference center situated throughout the Tulsa metropolitan area with an annual budget of approximately $112 million. The college employs about 2,270 people, including 280 full-time faculty and 536 adjunct faculty.
