2023 UK & Ireland tour Aladdin is a stage musical based on the Walt Disney Animation Studios 1992 film of the same name , with a book by Chad Beguelin , music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman , Tim Rice and Beguelin.

Michael James Scott (born May 24, 1981) is an American actor and singer, known for his work on the Broadway stage. He is best known for playing the Genie in Disney's Aladdin musical in the Original Australian Cast, as well as in the West End, U.S. National Tour, and Broadway productions.
Reed stayed in the role of Princess Jasmine when Aladdin opened on Broadway at the New Amsterdam Theatre on March 20, 2014, and took her final bow on January 11, 2018. She later went on to reprise the role in the North American Tour for a limited engagement, and once again in the West End production as part of its closing cast in 2019.
The tour played in 25 cities across the UK and Ireland and was produced by Yeoburn through his company United Theatrical alongside previous Spoonful producers Kat Portman Smith and Robert J.
