Members of the Bullingdon Club in 1866. The Bullingdon Club was founded more than 200 years ago. Petre Mais claims it was founded in 1780 and was limited to 30 men, [1] and Viscount Long, who was a member in 1875, described it as "an old Oxford institution, with many good traditions". [2]

After attending Ludgrove School and Eton College, he joined the Life Guards for National Service, being commissioned as a Lieutenant in 1951. Profumo was born in Kensington, London, [2] the son of Albert Profumo, a diplomat and barrister of Italian ancestry, who died in 1940. He attended Harrow School and Brasenose College, Oxford. Whilst at Oxford Profumo was a member of the Bullingdon Club.
Rothschild was a member of the Bullingdon Club as an undergraduate, at the same time as Osborne. [5] He completed an MSc degree in Addiction Studies at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London, in 2013. [6] In 2018, he was elected as a foundation fellow of Wadham College, Oxford. [7]
