This is a list of law enforcement agencies in the state of Indiana. According to the US Bureau of Justice Statistics' 2008 Census of State and Local Law Enforcement Agencies, the state had 482 law enforcement agencies employing 13,171 sworn police officers, about 206 for each 100,000 residents.
In 2020 Petersburg Area Transit suspended service to Central State Hospital and the Amazon Shipping facility in Dinwiddie due to lack of ridership. PAT hopes in the future there will be a need to restore this service. [1] A centralized multi-modal transit hub for the PAT is now being used as the transfer point for all buses.
