William A. Zoghbi (born October 28, 1955) is a Lebanese-American cardiologist. He is Professor of Medicine at the Houston Methodist Institute for Academic Medicine, in Houston Texas, and Weill Cornell Medical College. He holds the Elkins Family Distinguished Chair in Cardiac Health at the Houston Methodist DeBakey Heart & Vascular Center. [1]

Davis (born 1957) is a Milwaukee-based American cardiologist, low-carbohydrate diet advocate and author of health books known for his stance against "modern wheat", which he labels a "perfect, chronic poison." [1] [2] Medical experts have criticized Davis for making false assertions about wheat, unsupported by evidence-based medicine.
He has board certifications in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, and cardiovascular computed tomography. [ 1 ] He was a Master of the American College of Cardiology , a leading cardiovascular pathologist, and the former editor of both the American Journal of Cardiology and the Baylor University Medical Center Proceedings.

The Mustard procedure was developed in 1963 by Dr. William Mustard at the Hospital for Sick Children.It is similar to the previous atrial baffle used with a Senning procedure, the primary difference being that the Mustard uses a graft made of Dacron or pericardium, while the Senning uses native heart tissue.
