Oshi no Ko [a] (【推しの子】, "My Favorite Idol's Children" or "Their Idol's Children") [3] is a Japanese manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It was serialized in Shueisha 's Weekly Young Jump from April 2020 to November 2024, with its chapters collected in 16 tankōbon volumes.
The Oshi no Ko manga series features an extensive cast of characters created by Aka Akasaka. The story follows a doctor and his recently deceased patient, reborn as twins to a famous Japanese musical idol, navigating the highs and lows of the Japanese entertainment industry as they grow up together through their lives.
The ending theme for the second season of Oshi no Ko was announced on June 30, 2024, at the advance screening event for the anime's first episode at Marunouchi Piccadilly, Chiyoda, Tokyo, to be "Burning", performed by Hitsujibungaku.
