Xamk is the 4th largest university of applied sciences in Finland with 12 000 students and 1007 staff members (724 in teaching and research personnel) across four campuses [1]. Xamk is jointly owned by the cities of Mikkeli, Kotka, Savonlinna and Kouvola with Mikkeli holding a majority stake (52%) since August 2019.
