Port Elgin is a community in the town of Saugeen Shores, Ontario, Canada.Its location is in the traditional territory of the Saugeen Ojibway Nation.Originally named Normanton the town was renamed Port Elgin when it was incorporated in 1874, after James Bruce, 8th Earl of Elgin, a former Governor General of the Province of Canada.

Lunch At Allen's is a band consisting of four Canadian artists of folk, country, and popular music, Cindy Church, Marc Jordan, Murray McLauchlan and Ian Thomas.Their name comes from the fact that three of the four members, Jordan, McLauchlan, and Thomas, would often meet for lunch at Allen's restaurant on Danforth Avenue in Toronto, Ontario.

Port Elgin is a formerly incorporated village in Westmorland County, New Brunswick, Canada. It is located near the Nova Scotia border at the mouth of the Gaspereaux River where it empties into the Northumberland Strait's Baie Verte. It is the government centre of the Strait Shores district, which is a rural community type of local government.
Allen's was opened by Allen Saine. Saine later sold the business to Athens businessman Billy Slaughter. Slaughter hired Danny Self to run the business and eventually sold it to Self while keeping the real estate. Allen's got its "World Famous" nickname because of its proximity to the Navy Supply School. The student officers frequented Allen's. [2]
