It currently hosts football matches and is the home of Primera Division club Rayo Vallecano. The stadium holds 14,708 spectators and was opened on 10 May 1976. [ 2 ] It was constructed between 1972 and 1976, and it is also known by the names of Campo de Fútbol de Vallecas and Estadio Puente de Vallecas (The Bridge of Vallecas Stadium).
