This is the main segment, as two The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy episodes are wrapped around an episode of Evil Con Carne (or, on rare episodes, vice versa). Evil Con Carne is a series about an aspiring dictator obsessed with taking over the world, whose disembodied brain is transplanted onto the head of a slow-witted circus bear.
The series originally premiered as segments of Grim & Evil on August 24, 2001. The segments were spun-out into their own series on June 13, 2003 (the 2003-2004 episodes were originally for Grim & Evil), and continued to air until November 9, 2007. A spin-off film, titled Underfist: Halloween Bash, aired on October 12, 2008.
It consisted of 18 episodes, including the 49 Grim & Evil episodes, one exclusive episode, and the half-hour Halloween special (also made originally for Grim & Evil), in which Billy, Mandy, and Grim face against Jack O'Lantern.
Although the 2003–2004 episodes were produced for Grim & Evil, the series aired (as a separate series) from June 13, 2003, to October 12, 2008, on Cartoon Network. In 2007, the series produced two made-for-TV movies, respectively titled Billy & Mandy Save Christmas and Billy & Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure.
Grim is slowly adapting to modern life and is usually seen in his free time watching television (mainly horror movies or soap operas). His adaptation to daily life also leads him to neglect his duties as a Master of the Underworld and, eventually, not even care about who uses his enormously powerful scythe, seeing as how it is constantly stolen.
The resulting show, Grim & Evil, premiered on August 24, 2001, and was put on hiatus on October 18, 2002.
