The BMT Canarsie Line (sometimes referred to as the 14th Street–Eastern Line) is a rapid transit line of the B Division of the New York City Subway system, named after its terminus in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn. It is served by the L train at all times, which is shown in medium gray on the New York City Subway map and on station signs.
The two fully elevated lines, running side-by-side, are 1.5 kilometres (0.9 mi) long, and have a one-way travel time of four minutes. [3] They serve three stations: Terminal 1; Terminal 3; Viscount (long-term parking on Airport Road) Both lines operate independently in shuttle mode with a total capacity of up to 2,180 pphpd. [2]
The station is an elevated structure with a single island platform built beside the employee parking lot, long term discount multi-storey parking garage, reduced rate parking lots [2] and the ALT Hotel. [3] There are bus connections to MiWay Routes 24 and 107 [4] as well as Brampton Transit Route 505A Züm Bovaird.

The Canarsie–Rockaway Parkway station is the southern terminal station of the BMT Canarsie Line of the New York City Subway, and is one of the few grade-level stations in the system. Located at the intersection of Rockaway Parkway and Glenwood Road in the Canarsie neighborhood of Brooklyn , [ 3 ] it is served by the L train at all times.

Contract 4 of the Dual Contracts, adopted on March 4, 1913 between New York City and the Brooklyn Rapid Transit Company (BRT; later the Brooklyn–Manhattan Transit Corporation, or BMT), included a subway route under 14th Street, to run to Canarsie in Brooklyn; this became the BMT's Canarsie Line.
