Beijingnan (Beijing South) railway station (Chinese: 北京南站; pinyin: Běijīngnán Zhàn) is a large railway station in Fengtai District, Beijing, about 7.5 km (4.7 mi) south of central Beijing, between the 2nd and 3rd ring roads. The station in its present form opened on 1 August 2008 and mainly serves high speed trains.
Line 7 of the Beijing Subway (Chinese: 北京地铁7号线; pinyin: běijīng dìtiě qīhàoxiàn) is a rapid transit line in Beijing.It runs parallel and to the south of Line 1 and Batong line, from the Beijing West railway station in Fengtai District to Universal Resort in Tongzhou District.
It is 48.9 km (30.4 mi) in length [2] with 30 stations (29 stations in operation). The line is fully underground. Construction began in December 2013. The northern section, from Bei'anhe to Xiyuan, was opened on 31 December 2016. [4] An infill station, Nongda Nanlu, was opened on 30 December 2017. [5]
