Blenheim (/ ˈ b l ɛ n ɪ m / BLEN-im; Māori: Waiharakeke [2]) is the most populous town in the region of Marlborough, in the north east of the South Island of New Zealand.It has an estimated urban population of 30,600 (June 2024). [1]
The first commercial vineyards were planted around Blenheim in 1973, and Marlborough subsequently grew to become New Zealand's largest and most internationally well-known wine-producing region.
