Ronald M. Berkman (born April 17, 1947) [1] [2] was the president of Cleveland State University (CSU), a position he assumed July 1, 2009. [2] Berkman has been a peripatetic academic, working at Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School, the University of California, Berkeley, Brooklyn College, New York University, and the University of Puerto Rico.
Sands was selected by the Cleveland State University board of trustees to serve as the institution's seventh president, and took office on June 1, 2018, succeeding Ronald M. Berkman. [2] In 2019, Sands was named on the Cleveland Magazine Most Interesting People list. [ 3 ]
