The Amtrak Hartford Line is a train service run by Amtrak primarily between Springfield, Massachusetts, and New Haven, Connecticut, along Amtrak's New Haven–Springfield Line. Service on the line takes the form of shuttle trains, Valley Flyer trains or Northeast Regional through trains.
Amtrak also operates intercity rail trains on this corridor; Amtrak fares along the corridor are equal to their CTrail equivalents, and passengers can use CTrail tickets to ride Amtrak Hartford Line trains. The Pacific Northwest rail corridor is used by several Amtrak and local commuter rail services. Amtrak operates the Amtrak Cascades service over the length of the corridor, as well as the Coast Starlight from Seattle southward. The Empire Builder uses the corridor on short segments, via two sections in Seattle and Portland.
