The Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) is the national men's association football league in Scotland. The league was formed in June 2013 following a merger between the Scottish Premier League and the Scottish Football League .

The competition is now organised by the SPFL, the body formed by the merger of the SPL and SFL in 2013. Rangers hold the record for most wins with 28, while Celtic are second with 22 victories. The cup is currently held by Celtic, who defeated Rangers in the 2024 final on penalties. It was Celtic's seventh title in nine editions of the cup.
