General Sir Richard Lawson Barrons, KCB, CBE (born 17 May 1959) [1] [2] is a retired British Army officer. He was Commander Joint Forces Command from April 2013 until his retirement in April 2016. Barrons' early career was spent in various staff and field posts in the UK, across Europe, and in the Far East .
Cliff Barrows was born on April 6, 1923, in Ceres, Calif., the son of Harriet M. and Charles Tilson Barrows (both deceased). Barrows graduated from Bob Jones University in 1944 with a B.A. in Sacred Music. He was ordained as a Baptist minister in 1944, and served as an assistant pastor at Temple Baptist Church in St. Paul, Minnesota through 1945.
