Christopher Hernandez and his former partner, Miguel Vega, were both charged in federal court earlier this year on a five-count indictment. Vega is still headed for trial in October.
Hernandez worked at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and at UC Berkeley prior to joining the faculty at Case Western Reserve University. [3] He served as a faculty member in the Sibley School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University from 2010 to 2022. [2] He currently leads the Hernandez Research Group.
