Charles Osgood "Charlie" Sampson (born July 2, 1957) is an American former professional rodeo cowboy who specialized in bull riding. He was the 1982 Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) World Champion bull rider. [1] He is the first African-American cowboy to win a world championship in professional rodeo.
