The Clarendon Hills Historical Society was founded in 1974 by members of a local group known as the Friends of the Library. Until the official establishment of the Clarendon Hills Historical Society, the village's historical artifacts and archival materials had been stored, and cared for, at the Clarendon Hills Library, another volunteer-run village institution.

The Marston House is a historic house at 429 Main Street in Clarendon, Arkansas. It is a single-story wood-frame structure, five bays wide, with a side gable roof and a projecting gabled portico sheltering the center entrance. The portico is supported by paired columns, and the entrance is flanked by sidelight windows and topped by a transom.
The Clarendon House is a historic former hotel building on Clarendon Springs Lane in Clarendon, Vermont. Built about 1835 and enlarged in the 1850s, it is one of Vermont's finest examples of pre- Civil War resort architecture, and a rare little-altered survivor of that period.
