Lately I have been looking at some refurbished Cruise America rentals, the Four Winds 19g. It seems to be an agile and very drive-able unit, which would be important for my wife. These refurbished models come with a 12-month drive chain warranty and 12-month warranty overall...and you can get extended warranties for them too.

Hi, all! Newbie here looking to buy my first RV. I'm looking online (haven't seen it in person yet) at a 2015 Coachmen Leprechaun 210QB. It's a class C with 94K miles. It's listed by a private seller at $42,500. I'm also looking (online) at a 2018 Thor Majestic M-28A. It's also a Class C and with 122K miles. It's being sold by Cruise America at ...
p.s. it appears that for even less money Cruise America is selling pre-refurbished off rental coaches now, I guess like many places they are having a help wanted problem and have more coaches to sell than they have workers to put them through the reburbishment process. Pre-Refurbished Specials prices on these appear to start around $32,000
From what I've seen, Cruise America does a good job refurbishing the interior of the RVs they put up for sale, so visible wear and tear may not be a good way to judge how the rig has been used. The remaining mechanical life is a crapshoot, good fleet maintenance versus likely abuse by renters who don't care or don't know how to treat the unit.
I bought a motorhome from Cruise America's other main competitor, and so far, I am extremely pleased with my purchase. It is a 2008 Tioga 31M. It did not have an awning, but so far, I have not missed it. The outside is impeccable. It had 106,000 miles, but the engine sounds and runs like a fine Swiss watch.
Hi guys, MY wife and i have hired an RV from cruise america for May/june this year, but we are from the UK, and have never RV'd in the US before, so i could do with a few questions answered: 1. Our RV does not come with a TV, so my plan is to buy a small tv from a pown shop at the begining...
Cruise America’s gross negligence left my family stranded in a parking lot for several days. No waste or water hookups, waste tank full, during a heat advisory- my family of 5 and 2 dogs were forced to walk for clean bottled water. Cruise America’s protocol is to force the consumer into options that won’t cost future revenue.
As mentioned above, we bought our 28A class C from Cruise America Florida in April 2022. We done five months and nearly 6500 miles in it travelling from Florida up the west coast into Canada, around Nova Scotia to where it is currently in storage in Ontario.
