But my vote: GLOCK 26 (just add +0 pinky extension to suite your grip) The G26 is the time tested original 9mm for CCW. reliable but basic, CHECK! (Ultra reliable) runs great right out of the box, CHECK! (All the time) somewhat inexpensive , CHECK!
Most likely the screw will fail - the head will come off, then use a small punch to push the sight out from the bottom. If you have a bench block with a slot in it to support the slide, sight in the slot or hole, that would be nice. Some of the screw were 3-56, or a similar metric size, that will break off really easy.
