Regine Velasquez-Alcasid (/ r ɪ ˈ dʒ iː n v ɛ ˈ l æ s k ɛ z / rij-EEN vel-ASK-ez;) (born Regina Encarnacion Ansong Velasquez, [a] April 22, 1970) is a Filipino singer and actress.
