Phillip Jerome Warner (November 23, 1927 – April 20, 1997) was a farmer and politician in the U.S. state of Nebraska. He served as a state senator from Waverly, Nebraska in the Nebraska Legislature. His father, Charles J. Warner, served in the Nebraska Legislature as well, and also later as Lieutenant Governor of Nebraska.
Pillen was born in Columbus, Nebraska, to Dale and Dorothy Pillen. [2] His parents were farmers. [5] Dale Pillen served in the United States Army during the Korean War. [6] He died at a Columbus hospital in 1999 at age 72. [6] His grandfather immigrated to the United States from Germany and later served in the U.S. military during World War I. [7]
