Originally a corporate office building, the tower was later acquired by the Cook County government and now holds county government offices and courtrooms. [2] Officially the "George W. Dunne Cook County Administration Building", [3] its namesake is George W. Dunne (who served as president of the Cook County Board of Commissioners).
The Oak Brook Terrace Tower, which contains nearly 800,000 square feet of office space and houses several companies, is the tallest building in suburban Chicago, standing at 418 feet (31 stories). Major companies with a strong presence in the Illinois Technology and Research Corridor include:

Offices originally occupied floors 8–28, but floors 21–28 were converted to condo units in 2007, leaving offices on floors 8–20. The luxurious Four Seasons Hotel occupies the middle floors (30–46) of the tower. Floors 48–66 are part of the 132 East Delaware Residences, these 106 condominiums were part of the original building plan.
