The Movielife formed in 1997 in Long Island, New York [3] with vocalist Vinnie Caruana, guitarists Alex Amiruddin and Eddie Reyes, bassist Nick Ghanbarian and drummer Evan Baken. The band recorded a tape titled Red Demo with Mike Sapone. [4] Reyes left the group to form Runner Up [5] and subsequently Taking Back Sunday. [6]
