In mathematical analysis, the Dirac delta function (or δ distribution), also known as the unit impulse, [1] is a generalized function on the real numbers, whose value is zero everywhere except at zero, and whose integral over the entire real line is equal to one. [2] [3] [4] Thus it can be represented heuristically as
1 Mai; 23 August; Tudor Vladimirescu; Nicolae Bălcescu; V.I. Lenin; Gh. Gheorghiu Dej (later 16 Februarie) Grivița Roșie; In 1968, the raions became sectors, their names replaced by cardinal numbers. In 1979, Sector 8 was merged into Sector 1 and Sector 2 into Sector 3, yielding the present six sectors. [1]
Although implicit in the development of calculus of the 17th and 18th centuries, the modern idea of the limit of a function goes back to Bolzano who, in 1817, introduced the basics of the epsilon-delta technique (see (ε, δ)-definition of limit below) to define continuous functions. However, his work was not known during his lifetime. [1]
Piața Romană (The Roman Square) is a major traffic intersection in Sector 1, central Bucharest. Two major boulevards intersect in Piața Romană: Lascăr Catargiu Boulevard (which runs northwest towards Piața Victoriei ) and Magheru Boulevard (which runs south by southeast towards University Square ).

The number of people receiving benefits after an initial week of aid, a proxy for hiring, slipped 5,000 to a seasonally adjusted 1.874 million during the week ending Dec. 7, the claims report showed.
Dimensionless numbers (or characteristic numbers) have an important role in analyzing the behavior of fluids and their flow as well as in other transport phenomena. [1] They include the Reynolds and the Mach numbers, which describe as ratios the relative magnitude of fluid and physical system characteristics, such as density, viscosity, speed of sound, and flow speed.
