Álvaro Bautista was the 2022 Superbike Champion. The 2022 Superbike World Championship was the 35th season of the Superbike World Championship. The championship was won by Álvaro Bautista, who became World Champion in 2022 after finishing 2nd in Race 2 at the Mandalika round. There are 24 riders who compete in this event for the Mandalika race.
The Superbike World Championship began in 1988, being open to modified versions of road bike models available to the public.For many years, the formula allowed for machines with 1,000 cc V-twin engines (principally Ducati, but later Aprilia and Honda) to go up against the 750 cc four-cylinder engines (Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki and Suzuki).

The 2020 season calendar was announced on 21 November 2019, with 13 rounds scheduled. [1] The championship visited Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya (on 19 and 20 September) for the first time, [2] and a round was due to be staged at Oschersleben – on 1 and 2 August – for the first time since 2004. [3]
The 2022 British Superbike Championship season was the 35th British Superbike Championship season. The title was won by Bradley Ray . The season was marred by the death of Chrissy Rouse a few days after an incident during the final race at Donington Park.
The provisional 2023 season calendar was announced on 8 November 2022. [1] It was then updated on 28 February 2023 to announce the seventh round at Imola Circuit on 14–16 July. [ 2 ] It was updated again on 24 July, the Argentinian round at Circuito San Juan Villicum was cancelled due to the political reasons. [ 3 ]
