This application is Oracle forms 11g application. The java update that was pushed to my machine is java version 1.8.0_291-b10. I started playing with the java security settings under the advanced tab selecting TLS 1.0, 1.1, or 1.2 but nothing was able to run the java applet. Any help would be appreciated to solve this issue.

Since the upgrade to Java 1.8.0_111 was available last week more and more customers report that they cannot run the application anymore, and we have to provide them with workarounds. The only workaround we know off is to edit the java.security file and remove or comment out the line: jdk.jar.disabledAlgorithms=MD2, RSA keySize < 1024
