There are four major payment networks; Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. This card happens to run on Amex rather than Visa or MasterCard. What are your current FICO scores. I think that will more determine whether you get offers from Amex than opening a Credit One card.

Credit ONe Amex APPROVED $5,000 CL. I have little debt now (paid alot down over the past 18 months) 2013 BK and scores hover 680. I have had a credit one card for several years and got a preapproval email and it stated $5K line so I applied & approved. Just weird from Creditone. Message 1 of 42.

Re: Credit one - American Express credit card That's cool! I was approved for the same card with a $300 SL about 9 months ago. It's a great starter card. Grace period. Payments go through just fine. So many people rag on Credit One but they gave me a chance though immediately after CH7. I've never had a problem with the app and/or using the card.
09-26-2022 05:33 PM. Credit One America Express Approved. Well, I was eyeing another card and credit one American Express was on my list to app. Did the pre qual and it stated pre approved so I apped. Approved for $500 with an annual fee of $39, I am okay with that.

That is strange, the begging of January I called in and asked them why they would not just give me the CL they were offering on the second visa onto my existing visa, they said they could not do that and could not grant a cli on my current visa.
