I go to Word open a document. Select where I want the picture/screenshot to go and type the paste paste command (command - v). Alternately you can go to the "insert" drop down menu in Word and select picture from file. Find your screenshot on the desktop and click on it to select it and click the "open" button.

I'm using a MacBook Pro, running 10.12.2, and I'm not able to take any screenshots. By "not able", I mean I'm pressing the keys and getting no response from it: no sounds, no screenshots on my desktop, nothing. I've Googled it, and nothing.

Photos will import it. In Phots, drag the screenshot to the album, where you want to collect your screenshots. You can automate this procedure, if you change the default folder, where screenshot are stored. Create a special folder and make it the default folder for screenshots, as described here: :How to Change Screenshot Save Location

Screenshot is gone on my MacBook The screenshot function has stopped working. When I take a screenshot, the image will not lie on the desktop. It settles nowhere. I'm searching for the picture but it's not there. I have checked the settings on the keyboard and restored the default settings on the screenshot, but it still does not work.
