Murf is correct. I have had farm tractors that would stay up for weeks with a load on the 3 pt., and others that would settle overnight with no load. My 4310 will stay up for a week or more with a box blade on the 3 pt. They will all be different, unless it is a sudden drop that causes danger to someone, I wouldn't get too concerned. Frank. ....
Technically it should. The basic difference between the two tractors is horsepower. That said, the model years make a difference. Newer 2420s may have different steering boxes than older 2420s, same with JM184s. So without a part number guide, you have to hope they're at least close in age. //greg// ....
