Tanjong Bungah [2] (also spelt as Tanjung Bungah) is a suburb of George Town in the Malaysian state of Penang. It is located along the northern coast of Penang Island between Batu Ferringhi and Tanjong Tokong , about 6.5 km (4.0 mi) northwest of the city centre .
Tanjong Bunga is a state constituency in Penang, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Penang State Legislative Assembly since 1959. It covers the suburbs of George Town along the northern coast of Penang Island, including Batu Ferringhi, Tanjung Bungah and parts of Tanjung Tokong.

Tanjung Alim houses the USM research centre and the forest and coastal areas are being used for research on bio-technology. There is a jetty to bring in supplies from town. The beach is easily accessible and it is a suitable camping site for campers. It is also a resting place for visitors en route to Muka Head (Teluk Duyung).

It is located at the northeastern coast of Penang Island, 4 km (2.5 mi) northwest of the city centre. Over the recent decades, the former fishing village has been transformed into an upper-class residential suburb of the city. [3]
Keracut Beach is a beach in Penang National Park, Southwest Penang Island District, Penang, Malaysia. It is one of the remotest beaches in Penang and is located on the west coast of the cape at the northwest of Penang Island.
