Padgett Station is a multimodal transit facility that located in Wilmington's Upper Downtown neighborhood at 520 North 3rd St, and serves as a bus terminus for the Cape Fear Public Transportation Authority (Wave). Named after former Wilmington City Council member Laura W. Padgett, it was opened on January 18, 2020.
The hours of operation were seven days a week, from 5:30 a.m. to midnight. It had a fleet size of 29 buses and 20 bus operators. FAST serves 5,000 daily passengers, with 18 daily bus routes operated from 5:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.
All vehicles are marked "WTA" along each side and have a green image of the state on the door with "North Carolina Public Transportation" within it. The price to board the WE Shuttle is $1.00 while the pricing for rural service varies depending on location, but costs between $4.00 and $24.00.

Riegelwood is located near the eastern tip of Columbus County, south of Mitchell Landing on the Cape Fear River, site of an International Paper plant.
