Damon and Jeremy return to the bar and discover the vampires have been killed by Klaus and Rebekah's brother Kol, who tells them that 200 years ago he killed a Silas-worshiping cult and he does not want Silas to re-awaken. When he tries to tear off Jeremy's arms Damon attacks him, allowing Jeremy to escape.
Silas, Damon and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) leave for New Jersey while Elena stays behind since Silas does not want her with them. Silas leaves to find Stefan and Amara. Silas finds Amara tied on a tree and while he tries to untie her, she begs him to kill her. Stefan appears and they start fighting, with Stefan finally stabbing him. Silas dies and Amara stabs herself. In the meantime, Elena finds Qetsiyah and makes her finish the spell so that Bonnie becomes the anchor.
Silas later meets Damon and Jeremy at the bar and Jeremy "feels" that he is not Stefan but rather Silas and tries to convince Damon of it. Silas goes to the Salvatore house where he finds Katherine and tries to kill her. Katherine manages to escape from him and with the help of Damon and Jeremy leaves town.
