Berlin (/ ˈ b ɜːr l ɪ n / BUR-lin) is a town in Worcester County, Massachusetts, United States. The town was first settled in 1665 and incorporated in 1812, and is governed under the open town meeting system.
Route 62 is an 82.1817-mile-long (132.2586 km) east–west state route in Massachusetts.The route crosses four of the Bay State's 13 interstates (I-190, I-495, I-93, and I-95), as well as U.S. Route 1 (US 1), US 3, Route 2 and Route 128 as it heads from the northern hills of Worcester County through the northern portions of Greater Boston, ending in the North Shore city of Beverly at Route 127.

US 5 and Route 15 run for 10 miles (16 km) along the Berlin Turnpike within the towns of Berlin, Newington, and Wethersfield. The Berlin Turnpike is mostly a four-lane arterial road with some six-lane sections and is the alignment of the old Hartford and New Haven Turnpike. In Berlin, it has an interchange with the Route 9 freeway.
The Berlin Town Hall is a historic town hall at 12 Woodward Avenue in Berlin, Massachusetts. Built in 1870 and enlarged in 1904, it served as the town hall until 1999, and continues to serve as a local community meeting space. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011. [1]
