Country Club Hill Historic District is a national historic district located at Bluefield, Mercer County, West Virginia. The district includes 51 contributing buildings in a residential area of South Bluefield. The buildings are primarily large single family residences with generous front and rear yards.
There are listings in every one of West Virginia's 55 counties. Listings range from prehistoric sites such as Grave Creek Mound , to Cool Spring Farm in the state's eastern panhandle, one of the state's first homesteads, to relatively newer, yet still historical, residences and commercial districts.

A number of Second Empire and Victorian homes are present. The most notable house in the district is Hunter Hill, the house of Andrew Hunter, chief prosecutor of John Brown. Built in 1820, the house was destroyed during the American Civil War by his Unionist cousin David Hunter, and was rebuilt in 1865. [2]
