Amos Alonzo Stagg High School, or Stagg High School, is a public, four-year high school located at 1621 Brookside Road in Stockton, California, United States. It is part of the Stockton Unified School District. The school was dedicated on February 25, 1959, and was named after college football coach Amos Alonzo Stagg.
The school district encompasses 13 "learning centers", the first of which, named Lincoln Elementary, a one-room country school, opened on the corner of an empty field five miles north of Stockton in 1878 and still exists today, although it has undergone a complete renovation.
After initially playing at Bullard High School in her freshman year, she transferred to Brookside Christian High School in Stockton, California. At Brookside, she compiled nearly 1,500 points scored in her two years with the school, recording multiple triple-doubles and even a quadruple double. [2]
The Stockton Unified board voted to deny a charter school petition for Unbound Stockton. It is the organization's second failed attempt to open a charter.
