Ithaca (/ ˈ ɪ θ ə k ə /) is a city in and the county seat of Tompkins County, New York, United States.Situated on the southern shore of Cayuga Lake in the Finger Lakes region of New York, Ithaca is the largest community in the Ithaca metropolitan statistical area.
English: A 300 unit low- and middle-income housing project on a sloping site on the outskirts of Ithaca NY. It was sponsored by the New York State Urban Development Corporation. The units cascading down the slope were prefabricated in a factory in Oswego NY.

Ithaca Downtown Historic District is a national historic district located at Ithaca in Tompkins County, New York. The district consists of 64 contributing mostly commercial buildings. It is composed mainly of multi-story buildings with brick exteriors and flat or low-pitched roofs fronted by a variety of parapets set off by decorative cornices.
