([ke ˈβi.βa ˈme.xi.ko], "Long Live Mexico!"; Russian: Да здравствует Мексика!, romanized: Da zdravstvuyet Meksika!) is a film project begun in 1930 by the Russian avant-garde director Sergei Eisenstein (1898–1948) under contract to socialist author Upton Sinclair and other supporters in the United States.

Born in Mexico City, Herrera made his television debut in Clase 406 in 2002. [3] In the same year, he made his film debut in Amar te duele and won a MTV Movie Awards Mexico. [2] In 2004, he achieved international stardom playing the protagonist Miguel Arango in the Mexican telenovela Rebelde, which spanned the pop musical group RBD (2004–09).
Until Sergei Eisenstein's ¡Que viva México! (1931), Mexican audiences were exposed to popular melodramas, crude comedies, as well as Spanish-language versions of Hollywood movies. Eisenstein's visit to Mexico inspired directors like Emilio Fernández and cameraman Gabriel Figueroa , and the number of Mexican-made films increased and improved.
