Wizard101 is a 2008 massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) developed and published by KingsIsle Entertainment. Players take on the role of student wizards who must save the Spiral, the fictional universe in which the game is set, from various threats.
It follows Hibiki Hojo and Kanade Minamino who become Cure Melody and Cure Rhythm in order to stop the evil Mephisto who plans to cover the world in the Melody of Sorrow. The series began airing in Japan from February 6, 2011 to January 29, 2012, replacing HeartCatch PreCure! in its initial timeslot and was succeeded by Smile PreCure! .
However, on the due date, an evil man named Mephisto steals the Legendary Score, plotting to turn it into the "Melody of Sorrow" to spread sadness throughout the world. Major Land's queen Aphrodite scatters the Notes that make up the Legendary Score into the human world and sends a fairy named Hummy to Kanon Town to recover them.
It included a new album cover and track listing, several rare B-sides and the first UK release of "Sorrow Will Come in the End". However, two songs ("Roy's Keen" and "Papa Jack") were left off the new track list. In the initial press release, "Ambitious Outsiders" was incorrectly listed as "Ambitious Lovers". It was released on the Polydor label.
