Menge House Complex is a historic home located at Dolgeville in Herkimer County, New York. It was built in 1893 and is a 2 + 1 ⁄ 2-story, asymmetrically massed Queen Anne–style frame on a stone foundation. It features an engaged corner tower with a pyramidal roof.
Also on the property is a 1 + 1 ⁄ 2-story, gable-roofed carriage house/garage. From 1903 to 1918 it was owned by George Ward, successful prosecutor in the Chester Gillette murder trial of 1906. [2] It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on March 15, 2005. [1] Currently, it is a private residence. [3]
