All Saints is caught in a wave of hysteria when a cyanide 'spill' fills the ER with patients and makes it hard to tell who the real patients are from those panicking. Dan discovers Jessica's secret. As a result, the show's final two episodes had to be re-filmed. It is presumed that the nature of these episodes, in which Mark's on-screen wife goes missing, led Mark to suicide. The Seven Network paid tribute with a video clip in the following episode, along with actor John Howard in a plea to all those with depression to get help.
He told Michael Idato of the Sydney Morning Herald, "All Saints is a show which Seven and viewers have loved. However, an audience shift and increased production costs are behind this tough decision." He also informed Idato that the episode order trim had been reverted and the season would complete a 37 episode order, finishing on episode 493.
The team show strengths they didn't know they had, forge new friendships and relationships that both tantalise and shock us, and re-establish themselves as the best ED staff in the country. Season 10 also sees two of the team leave, one in tragic circumstances - Sean Everleigh - the other to the promise of love - Vincent Hughes.
