Here's an update. The morning that I dropped off my 2009 Tribeca to the dealer, we spent 20 minutes driving and duplicated the 'shudder' that occurred at 45mph and ~2K rpm at least 4 times. As suspected, the torque converter was slipping. Service tech confirmed ~100hp loss at gear change.

Likely I imported the car when the CDN $ was strong and only paid $33,000 CDN all in. There is NO WAY I would pay the $46,000 plus delivery and taxes ($52,000) CDN for the vehicle from a CDN dealership.
October 2005. My problems so far. Hopefully there are solutions to some of these: 1. On mp3 CD play, random function deactivates after each ignition cycle. To restart, you have to push random once (for random-folder), pause a second or two, then push random again for random-disc.
Subaru B9 Electrical/Lighting Problems. Work out any B9 electrical gremlins here. Typically plastic used for headlights and turn signals have high impact resistance- apparently not so for the fog light. the Subaru emblem on the steering wheel- given how nicely the cabin is lit with lighting, why not put a small back light for that?
