Noctis convinces Ardyn to perform the True King's ritual in his place. With the aid of his allies Noctis frees Lunafreya and unites with the other Astrals to block most of Bahamut's attack. Noctis kills Bahamut's physical form, while Ardyn performs the True King's ritual and destroys Bahamut's spirit before fading away.
