On 24 March 2024, a Kalvari class submarine reached, the Campbell Bay, the southernmost port of India in the Nicobar Islands, for the first time. [69] [70] Three of these submarines were deployed alongside INS Vikrant along with 7 frontline warships and 3 submarines (Shishumar class and Sindhughosh class) on 7 November 2024.
