Farewell and Chorley is a civil parish [1] in Lichfield District, Staffordshire, England. The villages of Farewell and Chorley , that make up the parish, lie 3 or 4 miles north-west of the City of Lichfield .
Christopher Farwell was son of Sir George Farwell, sometime a Lord Justice of Appeal, and Mary Erskine, née Wickens, daughter of Vice-Chancellor Sir John Wickens. He was educated at Winchester College, but did not proceed to university. He was called to the Bar by Lincoln's Inn in 1902, three years after his father was appointed to the High Court.

Farwell is a village in Clare County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 880 at the 2020 census . The village is located within Surrey Township about 4.0 miles (6.4 km) west of the city of Clare .

Also under PC 7992, a registry for maintaining orders and minutes of council, Treasury Board Minutes and other government orders was established. [11] It was not until 1944 that the formal collection of "Cabinet Conclusions" was created. [9]
Farwell was the son of James and Rebecca (Cady) Farwell; both of his parents died in his childhood, leaving him orphaned at age 11. He married Frances A. Cross (spelled "Corss" in many historical documents) on September 20, 1853, while he was serving his term as governor. She was the daughter of General Andrew N. Cross (or "Corss"), of Madison.
