North Houston Baptist School (NHBS) was a Baptist private school in Houston, Texas, and a ministry of North Houston Baptist Church, [1] in operation from 1972-2011. [ citation needed ] It served elementary school through senior high school. [ 2 ]

It is the first high school to open in the Museum District and it is the third Montessori high school in Houston. [9] Post Oak School began plans to establish a high school in 2010. [4] In 2011 the school plans called for partnering with area medical institutions and museums. The school is in proximity to the Texas Medical Center.
The school is located next to the HCC Northline building of the HCC-Northeast Campus. [1] The school used to be housed in portable buildings from 2008 to 2016. Then, in the school year starting in 2016, the school opened their doors to their new three-story building on the Houston Community College campus.
